Isometric has launched a new pyrolyzer pre-approval scheme to remove one of the biggest bottlenecks to validating and expanding biochar projects.
In the past, biochar suppliers had to get each pyrolysis or pyrogasification unit validated individually. For suppliers scaling across multiple sites, or those deploying dozens or hundreds of units in distributed projects, this could significantly limit the speed of validation.
With Isometric’s pyrolyzer certification, manufacturers complete reactor validation upfront—meeting the same rigorous requirements—so that suppliers don’t have to. Suppliers simply select a pre-approved pyrolyzer model in Certify and add those reactors to new or existing projects without needing to repeat the pyrolyzer validation process.
The result is streamlined validation, faster project expansion, and accelerated issuance—all while maintaining the same rigorous validation standards for every project.
